Brick by brick it is then!!
Actually won't hurt to get a building upgrade and would be a shame if whoever owns/runs it gets priced out of sorting something out in Stratford.

I have a letter from the supporters club addressed to my dad regarding transport to Hillsborough for the Semi-final against Man Utd 1964.
That is all.

No it's not. Spoke to one of the blokes behind the bar. He said that they will stay open this year and next and then probably have to close. They were hoping to move to a premises in Hackney Wick but we refused permission or something .

I have never set foot in the supporters club though passed it almost every game since 1974. It does not appear to have altered in all that time, at least from the outside.
Does it really have any relevance in the modern era?

What? An official premises for football supporters to meet, drink and socialise. How the fuck is that not relevant?

They asked the LLDC to build them a new building on the park.
The LLDC said no.
They get a pepercorn rent thanks to a deal with Newham struck years ago and cant afford the market rate.

You dickhead Lard, of course a SUPPORTER'S club has relevance these days.
It's a place for SUPPORTER'S to go. It will always be relevant.
I like it in there, decent crowd, got the football on the screen, reasonably priced booze.
Will probably go there more for this last season. Like East Ham Working Men's club too, suppose you don't think that has any relevance either.
Just the sort of up his own arse, snooty cunt that things like the OS pander to.

Never been in it but it does still look the same from the outside as when I went to my first game 25 years ago.
